Yellow dress

I made this yellow dress yesterday with part of a yellow sheet I got at a thrift store. I didn't use a pattern. I also made the shirt underneath. I just cut out a rough t-shirt shape and sewed the sides and shoulders.

The back is so much nicer than the last doll dress I made. It is still pinned shut in the back because I didn't have a chance to sew on hooks and eyes, and there are some pencil marks on it from trying to mark where the sleeves should go.

This dress was created for Doll Fashion Week over at Iradessa.

I love this - how creative! I've always loved pale, pastel-y colors, and this yellow is awesome. :D It works perfectly with the shirt underneath. Lovely work!

God bless,
Katie :)
